Best Club in Manhattan IMO

I went to Show Palace very late on a recent Thursday night — the place has been described before but it’s right off an exit on the Queensboro. I took a cab so don’t know the parking situation but it’s Queens, so imagine parking probably wasn’t the easiest. There was a $20 cover at the door and a drink minimum to get seated. They also made me check my coat.

When inside the drink prices were much more reasonable than other clubs in NYC, but still expensive. I grabbed a corona for $11 and sat by the stage. The different stages typically has a few dancers on it but if you talk to a dancer, it’s easy to get their attention and even take them off stage for the conversation.

There was a wide variety of girls — some AA, white, Asian. The dance set up is different from other NYC clubs but a lot more value for your money. I didn’t see anyone doing floor dances (not sure if there are any) but the downstairs VIP room is $200 for 30 minutes and $100 for 15. The rooms are private and there’s a clock in the top that times how long you have, I did two dances in them which were each topless and a lot of roaming was encouraged. It was implied that more was on the table if we went to the upstairs VIP room, but I think the pricing for that is double the downstairs VIP so I didn’t try it.
