Mediocre Mickey's

I've been frequenting Mickeys for the past couple of years & I've always had a good time until recently. This used to be a great low-key strip club, where you could relax and talk with the girls. A lot has changed since the new ownership mainly for the worst. Good on the owners for bringing in more patrons & new girls, I hope they make a boatload of money, but it won't be any of mine! You now walk in and go through a small vestibule, you open the door and are immediately greeted by a bouncer who asks you what's in your pockets as you walk through a metal detector. The metal detector is conveniently placed in the same room at the bar/dance floor so every single time somebody enters the building you will be greeted by an obnoxious BEEP BEEP BEEP. Awesome vibes right away. 90% of the girls here have started within the last couple of months, all the girls who worked here for years seem to be being pushed out for younger women with fake bodies. To each their own I guess. Don't expect much conversation with the girls here anymore- the rap music is blaring so loud you can hear it from the parking lot. Seems like the new owners are trying to turn this into a club desire night club type strip joint, not sure how that's gonna work when they are smack dab in the middle of a busy residential neighborhood.Dance prices are still the same $20 for 5 minutes behind a thin see through curtain. Beers still run you $6 each. This is no longer the club for me, I'll be looking for greener pastures in the future .
