Something I’ve Never Seen Before

I visited Deans Gold on a Wednesday night around 11:00 pm. I paid $5 to park, $20 cover, and $9 for a domestic beer. So I was -$34.00 before I sat down. The club is fairly small since it only occupies a portion of the building. There seems to be a lot of wasted space around the entry, and they don’t use the west side of the building as you enter.

There are three bars when you enter the club, two on the main floor, and one in the rear, elevated area. There are two elevated stages, and girls were dancing on both stages while was there. Not all girls got nude on a 3 song rotation. Deans is always slow before midnight, and on this Wednesday there were more dancers than customers by about a 3:1 margin. There appeared to have been only about 10 customers, and the energy level was very low. Music was not too loud, and it was easy to have a conversation at a normal level. Dancers looked bored and mostly just swayed back and forth. No one tipped at the stages.

One of the nice touches at Deans is the manager greeted me at the door and asked me what type of girl I was looking for. I told him a thin, European, super model-type, and as soon as I sat down that was exactly what appeared at my table. “Chelsea” was a gorgeous petite blonde with green eyes and appropriately-sized bolt-ons from Ukraine who might have been one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen in a strip club. The manager was on point. I chatted with Chelsea for a bit and she suggested we go for some $20 dances. I was happy to oblige. For as good as she looked, Chelsea’s topless dances were lackluster, and she swatted my hands away whenever I tried to cop a feel. So 2 dances were enough for me. $20 lappers at Deans are still the best deal in town.
