After a terribly disappointing experience at Bare Elegance, I made my way to Stilletto, er, now Lace 2. As a very satisfied patron of the previous club (full nudity, no alcohol) I do my best under the new regime. Yes, the place is cleaner than before and I really do love the no smoking (and no smoke machine). I miss the bottomless juice bar, but mainly because I hate paying like $8 bucks for an 8oz. water. Prices similar to before. $15 cover, $3 coat check, $2 tip to coat check girl. But, still the best $20 dances in the city, IMHO. Secured several high mileage dances from Sabrina and left a happy customer. Besides Sabrina, Star, another Stilletto holdover was there. They suggested a double dance in the newly remodeled private rooms. Was quoted $300 for 30 minutes or $490 for an hour. Yikes! And, that was before dancer tip... I informed them of my previous experience at Bare Elegance earlier in the evening and settled for several great couch dances with Sabrina. She's a woman with some curves, but really seems to love what she's doing (or at least fakes it well). Most of the other dancers that night were immemorable. Club was pretty crowded for about 1:30 AM on a Tuesday night. It did seem to be a slightly younger crowd and one of the other dancers remarked they were holdovers from the St. Patrick's day festivities.
