Saturday night

I decided to visit Jimmy’s last Saturday night. I hadn’t been in a few years, so I wanted to see how it was. It’s about a 40 minute drive from downtown Chicago. I arrived a little before midnight and the parking lot was almost full, but I was able to find a spot. They don’t charge for parking. There were a couple of security guards standing outside of the club, one patted me down before letting me in. Once inside another security guard asked for my id, scanned it and told me it would be a $10 cover charge, plus an extra $20 charge since I was wearing sweatpants. I went ahead and paid it since I made the drive. Once inside I got a seat at the bar. There is a good amount of seating available at the bar which is on the right after you enter the club. There is one long stage with a few tables and chairs surrounding it. There is additional seating in a slightly elevated area on the opposite side of the bar.

After a few minutes one of the bartenders came over to where I was sitting and I ordered a D'Ussé ($15). The club was crowded and most of the seats were occupied. There were plenty of dancers (20+ all black) out on the floor with a nice variety of body types from spinners to thick. A super thick dancer came over and introduced herself and started with some small talk while I watched the stage show. I got her a drink. She eventually started grinding on me at the bar. I tipped her singles and after a couple of songs she asked if I wanted to do some private dances. I agreed and we went to the back which is an open room with small couch like seats that are separated by low dividers and doesn’t offer much privacy. There is a security guard that sits by the entrance of the private dance area. Options are $20 per song for topless/ $30 per song for nude. I opted for the nude. We were the only ones back in the private dance area for the time and the security guard never came over. I think I saw a couple of cameras, but I’m not sure if they are monitored. I got three songs which were played full length. The dances were ok, with a nice grind and my hands were allowed to roam, but nothing special. After the dances I went back out to the bar area, but all of the seats were taken, so I ordered another drink and stood by the video poker machines near the entrance and watched the stage show.
