Went to Ken's Gold Club early...

Went to Ken's Gold Club early afternoon- I had been there about 3 years ago, and things in Nashville have changed. Cover $6 in the afternoon, no alcohol (BYOB) and no food. All beverages are $5. Dancers this afternoon ranged from 5-8, did 2 song sets and most ended up nude. Most seemed to have a great attitude. The "3 foot rule" applies, making tipping more like throwing a paper airplane. My main (fixable) criticism is that the stage area is too dark- makes it hard to see what is being shown. Private dances are $25 per song, on a couch and upstairs, "in costume". I had two each from 2 artistes, one who has been at the club for a while and the other a fairly recent addition. Both were quite good, the more experienced dancer's was better. I rated the club as a 6 because 1. BYOB; 2. 3 foot rule; 3. Expensive non-alcoholic drinks; 4. Poor stage lighting. But for Nashville, this is probably as good as it gets, and I would recommend it if you are in town and need to visit a club.
