First time here in months

This club has valet and a lot of parking options. I don’t bother with any of that, I just drive past the club and park in the large lot behind it. On a weekend night you might have to circle a round a bit to find a spot, but haven’t had an issue so far. Walking in the club is the metal detector and a bouncer, take out your keys and phone etc. No hats (at least the times I’ve been there) and $10 at the door to get in. Right when you walk in is a bar in front of you, and some section to the right that has never been in use when I’ve visited. Sometimes there is a person or two sitting there, but seems like wasted space? If you turn left, you see the main stage, surrounded by tables and seating, with bathrooms right beside it. On the opposite side of the stage is the private dance area. Walking in further, there is a small stage to the left, surrounded by vip seating. Beyond that is the smaller bar in the corner. I usually make my way up there first to get a beer quicker. Coronas are 6 or 7 bucks, I haven’t had any mixed drinks or other options.

This was my first visit back in awhile, and I was admittedly rusty. I ended up sitting down at a table near the men’s room, figured I’d have a beer while I got settled in then relocate. Seconds after I get my beer I make eye contact with a slim, pretty AA girl and before I know it she’s joining me at the table. I figure I’ll buy her a drink and talk for a bit. She tells me she isn’t drinking, but just wants to hang. She ends up being great to talk to and eventually I’m down for a couple dances.
