Still the top in Chicago

I usually take shit for my reviews of Scores. But where you go is what you can review. I don’t get out to Scores very often anymore. It’s in a slow decline sorry to say but it’s still the best option in or near Chicago for my money.

Valet and cover are steeper than before. The room is decent with a high bar to the side and a low bar in the back. A round main stage in the middle and two smaller satellite stages to each side that are only sometimes in use. Private rooms and booths and a main open room for dances is ok but not great.

The Bad.

Scores needs a refresh - the place is a bit crowded when busy (after 10/11PM) and its showing its years. They need to refresh top to bottom - new chairs overall clean up. For the prices charged it should be nicer. One of the chairs in the main dance room was completely torn and broken/uneven on my last visit.

Also scores is more expensive than the competition. Its $30 per dance and the pricing for rooms is always different and too much. Drinks are like 10 a beer and 12-15 for a drink. Pretty standard.
