Meh

I had not been to this club in quite awhile. It used to have a fair amount of spinners as I recall, a mix of Caucasian and AA’s. On this visit it was almost exclusively AA’s. I recognized at least one lady from Purple Orchid down the street. The inside hasn’t changed. It’s a large rectangular bar with a stage on the inside. The dancers do their thing on stage and then come down outside the bar for tips.

There were about 5-6 other patrons on my visit. Because the crowd was sparse I was able to converse with almost all the ladies when they came around for tips. One caught my eye, a very nice AA spinner. She was talkative and fairly handsy at the bar. I got her a drink and we talked for about 20 minutes. Because she was so handsy I figured she would be a good choice for high-octane dances.

She led me to the back hand-in-hand where the regular dances are done. It’s a quiet, dark room with individual couches with high backs so there is pretty good privacy. Dances are $20 a pop. She chose the far couch in the corner so I figured I was in for great time. Boy was I wrong! It was really bad.
