Disappointing Saturday night, will try again soon

I've been coming to Gallaghers for 15 years now -- weekly when it was at its prime, but probably semi-annual now that it's 1% of its old self. Why do I still come back? Nostalgia, mainly. But it still hasn't gone completely down the crapper. Half the women at all times are always pretty attractive, close enough for me to do a double take if I saw them on the street. There's usually not much pressure to partake aside from the dollar parade. And the beers are moderately priced, especially when compared to the city. Since they've revamped their system post-COVID, it's also been a spot where extras can be had pretty frequently... a rarity outside of the ATL/DET/PHX/Pompano Beach areas in the U.S. So as I was ready to relieve myself, I made a stop this past Saturday night.

Quick account of the vibe and layout as it has been covered many times by me and others: Security (on weekend nights) to do a quick pat down, $15 cover and a coat check. These days, there's always a seat at the bar and only the stage at the bar is active. Two girls at all times dance on stage for about 4-5 songs. Some try, others walk slowly in place. Most patrons give $1, although the last time I was here, one girl gave me shit for not giving me $2. I was in a good mood this time around so I gave $2 to everyone, which coincidentally -- ruined my night. More on that in a bit. The bartenders are really friendly and one of them -- is exceedingly young and hot. Forgot her name. Beers and waters are $10-$12, around that range. I forget, I just tip them some dollars and use the rest for the dollar parade.

As I mentioned, I tip everyone $2 this past Saturday, which apparently was more than anyone else was giving that night, and immediately gave me one vulture who was top 5 worst people to work in a strip club. I wish I could remember her name, so I can give advice. I think her name was Lena or some four-letter name that rhymes with that. All I remember is that she's Latina from NY, very big booty and a face in her 30s, but her thighs had stretch marks. The latter turned me off and I wasn't really gonna go for her, but I was ready to be open if she got me going. Instead, the conversation was pretty boring... and I just wasn't feeling her. I told her, "Hey maybe later" She took that as maybe 5 minutes from now. And just stayed with me. I tried to be more direct with "I just want to hang out with my beer right now" or "Maybe you should see other guys right now" or "I don't think I'm even going to go get a dance anytime soon." It was like a terrible first date where you just hung around each other with nothing to say. She didn't get the message to leave and let other girls approach me, so for like 30-45 minutes, beautiful women I rather talk to left me alone cause I was 'taken' by her. It got to the point where I had to tell her "I'm not really into you. I'm sorry. I'm going to look for someone else". And then she of course gave me attitude and told me no guy has said yes to her all night. I wonder why. (PS the rest of the night, I saw her do the same shtick and annoy 3 other dudes).
