Willingly robbed
This was my first time visiting this club and I had no idea what to expect. I had read a lot about it across reddit and thought I would give it a try. Many said it was sketchy and "different". Well, I really like Talk of the Town, so it sounded like my kind of place.
I walked in, paid my $5 cover to a less than enthusiastic employee and then tried to make my way to a far corner in the room. I was intercepted quickly by a girl and taken to the bar where I ordered drinks from a bartender from what I could tell, really didn't want to be there. I don't like being attacked right when I walk in, so I kindly dismissed her and then made my way to the corner.....where I found the couch wet from a leaky roof since it was raining outside.
After finding a dry spot, I was approached often by girls of all ages, mostly Cuban. They were all beautiful and I took many of them up on their offer for a "private" dance in the back room. The room is just off the main room and is only blocked by a light curtain hanging in the doorway. Prices ranged from $30 - $40 per song. I say "private" because it is just a rectangle room, with armless chairs around the walls. I don't know if they have assigned areas or what, but there was no rhyme or reason to where they would ask me to sit. Maybe cause I'm a guy, who uses urinals, and abide by the rule of choosing urinals when other guys are using them.........but there were times I was set right next to the door, or right next to other guys when there were plenty of corners and other places to get the dance. However, I did notice the ones that sat me right next to the door, tended to be a little more handsy......probably because they could see who might be approaching. Either way, I was so consumed by the beautiful women on my lap, I didn't even notice anyone else in the room ever.
