Happy time at bandaids
I checked out Bandaids Show Lounge during the day, and honestly, it was a pretty chill spot. The club itself was clean, but the bathroom was kinda small. Lighting was dim, which gave it a laid-back feel, and the music was at a good volume—not too loud, so you could actually have a conversation. The DJ just played music without talking over every song, which was nice. It wasn’t busy at all, mostly just regulars hanging out, sipping drinks, and chatting. It felt more like a low-key lounge than a wild party scene, at least during the daytime.
There were about eight dancers working while I was there, mostly Cuban and Mexican. A few came up and asked if I wanted a dance, but most just chilled unless they saw you looking their way. One girl was a little pushy, but for the most part, they weren’t aggressive at all. A lot of them either sat together in little groups or stuck with regulars they seemed to know. If you like dancers who give you space and let you decide when you’re ready, this place is a good fit.
As far as prices go, it was pretty reasonable. No cover charge during the day, which was a nice bonus. A Jack and Coke ran me about $6, and private dances were $20 per song. I didn’t ask about discounts, but for what I got, I felt like it was worth it. I ended up going to VIP with a Cuban dancer, and she allowed mutual contact, which made the experience way better. If you’re looking for that kind of dance without spending a ton, it’s a solid deal.
