Thursday Evening in Phoenix

I made the short 2 mile drive and arrived around 10PM. You pass thru a metal detector. Cover was $10 plus 8.6 percent sales tax. The right side is nude and the left side is topless.

I entered the topless side. Most of the tables had a Reserved sign on them, so I sat at the bar. They have an electronic display between the main stage and the DJ booth which lists the names of the next 8 dancers due up on stage. It will show unavailable if the dancer is getting VIP dances. The board is controlled by an iPad. You pay the attendant $110 in advance for 3 VIP dances. I will not get a $20 floor dance because they are no touch.

When it became apparent that Sierra was not here this evening, I decided that I would get some dances from Santana who I noticed on stage. I stage tipped her and told her to stop by. She came over and I bought her a drink. I don't know what drinks cost because my change included pennies. Her mixed drink was in the neighborhood of $10. I got plenty of ones and coins back from my twenty. Santana is all natural and has been dancing here for 3 years. She is from San Francisco and previously danced there. I got 3 VIP dances from her that where average. The only advantage I see in paying the attendant $110 up front is that the dancer can't overcount songs. I have noticed an increase in Phoenix dancers over counting songs lately. They probably don't understand how important repeat business is.
