A Friday night in St Paul...

A Friday night in St Paul and I decided to make a return visit to KOD. The club has changed very little in the past year. Cover charge when I arrived around 11:00 was $10. You can get in free if you have a ticket for a sports event from that day. My beer was $6.25, a little expensive but probably not horrible.

The advantage in this club is being able to drink and see fully nude dancers. Most clubs in this region give you a choice of 1 or the other. They have 2 stages with chairs around each. Dancers work the lower stage and then move to the upper stage. From there they go to the floor for table dances. There were guys sitting around each stage, but still room for more. Most guys were tipping $1 or $2 at a time, a few guys through out bigger bills. The girls go topless and nude as fast or slow as they want. I saw 1 girl that got topless right away but then spent the rest of her time working a pole away from the guys. She didn't get any tips because she didn't get near the guys. The girls dance 2 songs on each stage.

There are tables and benches away from the stages for customers and 2 bars. The tables are all high and have barstool type chairs with rounded backs. They also have the same chairs pulled up to counters. They are not real comfortable chairs, at least for big guys. The couple of benches are against walls, one by the lower stage and the other a ways from the upper stage. They aren't necessarily more comfortable because they aren't padded. But they do sit a little more upright. The one near the upper stage seems to be only for lap dances, I did not use that bench. There is also a very small area with a couple of regular tables and chairs. It looked like a reserved area. It is between the DJ booth and the bar near the upper stage.
