Good enough I guess

Arrived on a Thursday afternoon around 430. It’s a pain to get here around this time of day but that’s any Atl club in rush hour. Pulled into the parking lot and it was almost full. I managed to get a spot closer to the street for $5. Parking attendant was friendly and welcoming. Armed Bouncer out front gave a decent pat down. Cover is $10.

I went to this place twice last summer when they first opened. Had a good (but not great) time both occasions but haven’t been back. The talk of ROBs and uncertainty towards VIP put me off. But I decided on this day to give it another shot. Layout has been discussed a bunch so I’ll say the raised up seating along the wall allows for decent privacy due to darkness and imo the spot with the best privacy is next to the DJ booth. Since that spot was taken i took a spot on the opposite side of the club next to the free Buffett.

Maybe a dozen dancers circulating and around the same number of customers. More alive than any recent Onyx reviews have indicated but this is almost 5pm on a Thursday so it should be a decent crowd. I recommend against showing up much earlier in the afternoon. Dancers were maybe 50% black and the rest a mix of white and Latina. There’s a few gems in there but I was not impressed overall. First dancer was light skinned black or mixed or whatever and she was very friendly, on the short side but thick and great naturals. She gave nice, slow grind and allowed hands to roam. Dances were $10 apiece and I verified that with each girl up front. She offered vip at 200 plus 60 to the club but didn’t specify what would happen back there so I passed.
