Pretty much still the same club as years ago

On a very recent weekend trip to Phoenix I made a point of stopping at a number of different clubs. Over the course of a Saturday and Sunday I made four stops.

Bandaids was number two on the list, and I arrived around 6:00 PM On a Saturday night. I don't remember if there was a cover or not but if there was it was only maybe five bucks. One thing that I noted was I had to show ID, don't know if they scanned it or not but I think they did. This never bothers me but I know it's a deal breaker for some. It's always funny to me that people are happy to give away all of their information while surfing the web or using discount shopper cards etc. but when a club like this wants to have some neanderthal scan a DL they flip out.

The club is an epitome of dive bar. When you first enter you'll be in a smallish room that houses the bar, maybe a dozen bar seats and one or two very small high top tables. Passing through the bar there is an arch door that leads to a somewhat bigger room that houses the stage and the VIP area. VIP is almost comical in this situation, given that the club is so sleazy. I headed straight through to the large room after grabbing a beer, about $5, certainly the cheapest drinks of my little tour of Phoenix.
