Pure Gold - living up to the legacy of Centerfolds?
The place has only been open for a little over a year. The old Centerfolds Club is totally gone now, the building demolished and is now an open lot for additional parking. I went to Centerfolds for years, even from when it was called Chester's. Used to be my favorite club in Greensboro. There were a lot of dancers through the years that I had some good times with and even got to know a few of them quite well. The move over to the new club was like two years in the making. It is bigger and has better accommodations as far as the VIP rooms go. They start out with booths that have a metal curtain on the entrance. Next in line are private rooms with big screen TVs and their own sound system. There is also a hot tub room. Prices are basically $10 a minute, $100 for ten minutes, $300 for 30 minutes and so on. The hot tub room is going to run for over $1000 for like an hour. I did a hot tub experience at another club over 20 years ago, so that's off the bucket list. I'll likely not try it in this place for that price. The girls are for the most part average for strip clubs. They come and go, with a few regulars there. Only a couple remain from the Centerfolds crew. The fun in the VIP rooms is going to vary with the rates. The low end rooms are limited contact. The more you pay, the more you play, is the general rule. Overall, it's not a bad place. But, I don't know if it's ever going to live up to the old Centerfolds club.
