Decent Option but Prefer Rick’s

I went to Vivid on a recent Friday night — it’s been described here before but you enter down a flight of stairs which opens up to a lounge area with a few tables, dancers on stage to your left, and a bar in the back as you walk down the lounge. It is a nice, upscale club like most of the midtown clubs are. I paid a $20 cover and had to do mandatory coat check of $3.

This night, there were maybe 20-30 dances on the floor in total, pretty good mix of ethnicities (maybe a little more Latina and AA vs other midtown clubs) and body types. There weren’t too many PLs in the place, so almost immediately I was approached by a few dancers who asked for dances pretty quickly. I wanted to take my time so I turned them down which wasn’t an issue at all. Only one of the three dancers who approached me asked for a tip, otherwise I grabbed my beer and hung out stage side in a lounge chair.

I eventually did dances with two girls - one was an AA girl named Courtney who gave a great grind, decent mileage outside of bikini areas, and was a good conversationalist even after I said I was done with dances. She didn’t push VIP nor did I want to go up tonight, but it was overall nice to spend the time.
