Good spot but crowded Thursday - couldn't catch a break.
I've been to BDD a few times when in town, but its been a while - not sure if its losing its magic, but Ive had better nights. First, its a pretty big place:
When you walk in past the register, there's a tub with beers and a pretty girl serving. Then in front of you, in the middle of the main room, theres a rectangle shaped bar with stools all around it. To the right there are four small stages where girls rotate through short dance sets, with small tables scattered between them, and on the right wall theres a main stage. Behind the stage wall though, theres a hallway row of benches for lapdances. On the far end of the main room theres another space with small tables and some tallboys, and a buffet along the far wall - it looked like it might be free? but I had already eaten so didnt check it out. On the left theres a huge staircase that leads up to a kind of big balcony that overlooks the main room. Theres another bar up there, small rooms for private dances behind it, and a bunch of big easy chairs. placed in front of the railing looking down.
Got to the club around 9, on a Thursday night, and the place was already pretty packed. Paid my $5 cover (which is a good deal) and then had to pick my way through the crowd and walk around a while before finding an empty seat. Lots of waitresses around, but for some reason it took like 15 minutes for one of them just to bring me rail drink. OK prices, I think mine was like 9 bucks for liquor.
