A decent first club experience in rural Wisconsin

I went to Lickity Splitz on a Friday in December. It was quite cold (normal for Wisconsin), so I expected it to be fairly dead. When I arrived I confirmed my suspicions. The bouncer mentioned that there was a $10 dollar cover at the door and a two drink minimum. I paid the cover and found a seat at the bar to order a drink and scope the place out.

There were only a couple other clients there, and a few dancers milling about. Most were good-looking by rural midwestern standards, but a couple were fairly overweight and one looked legit strung out. However, they were friendly and one that was my type quickly struck up conversation with me. She wasn't pushy about dances or anything which I appreciated since I'm a club newbie and she made good conversation. As we talked I watched the one stage and saw a few girls routines. Overall, there were some decent dancers, but most were clearly phoning it in.

The woman I was talking to went back to freshen up before her time on stage. I went over and sat by the stage for a few dances. By this point it was getting late and the club was filling up a bit. The stage dances were completely nude which was great and the dancers were not afraid to get close and personal.
