I recently visited Risque in Tacony for the first time in awhile. When I worked in the marketing field, I lived in the area. Risque’s location was very convenient to the highway, so if I needed to hop on 95 I’d often stop to take advantage of their courtesy lunch buffet. I was surprised to learn that was still available! So when I recently found myself in the area I dropped in!
The layout of the bar hasn’t changed much and the interior is still pretty clean and maintained. The main bar is right in front of you when you walk in and seating was more than available. There was no cover and less then a half dozen people there during my noon(-ish) visit.
The bartender was cute short older blonde (maybe carrying an extra few pounds) with a HUGE chest. She was very engaging and friendly. Generally the atmosphere was welcoming,
As for the dancers? It was early in the day, but I only noticed a pair of AA ladies. Pretty enough but I wasn’t particularly interested in either one. I’m definitely chalking this up to timing though. I’ve seen some of Risque’s talent on IG, I just happened to catch the beginning of the day shift.
The tap and bottle selection was pretty standard domestic and imports. If memory serves my Miller High Lifes were about $5 a piece. Shots and imports are obviously much more expensive, but I’m a man of simple tastes and was literally just there for a quick lunch and see some tittes.
The lunch may only be a pretty basic cold cut spread, but the rolls were fresh and the deli meat was still relatively untouched.
I know it’s a little odd to be talking about a lunch special on this site, but I felt like it deserved a little recognition for its dollar value. Had I gone to the local Wawa for a soda and a sandwich, I’m positive I’d have spend a comparable amount of money!
Again, this may be a different angle on the club, but I felt like it was something the local crowd could take advantage of
