Never saw a Carl

A Tuesday night and finally not freezing out, so thought I'd leave my hotel. I did not think I would be out too long so avoided some of the other Stone Park establishments, given their valet parking fees and entrance costs.

I'd read about Carl's Bar enough on here to give it a try. It was almost 11 pm so figured all would be smooth. The parking lot, though, was about 3/4 full and everything in front of Carl's was taken, up to a couple doors down. Given the number of cars, I expected more patrons. Still, I got a spot in the lot in front of Schwings. Not sure how I feel about a shrimp & wings combo carry out spot, but I was not going in there.

Entered and, despite it being late on a Tuesday in January, was charged a $10 cover and had my ID scanned. Two bouncers at the door, one for the money and one for the card.
