Nice club interior, but otherwise pretty lame.
This review is for two of my visits to the Boardroom Cabaret in Brockton Mass. both of which were on Sunday evenings. I entered the club fee of cover charge and there was no ID scan, just walk right in. Sam Adams were 8 bucks a bottle.
I'm not going to give a ridiculously detailed review of the physical layout of this club because it has been done before in prior reviews. Just know that the physical space is pretty nice, arguably the nicest club I have visited. The interior of the club is essentially one gigantic cavernous wood-paneled room with a bar, tables, a multi-level stage, lap dance areas, an upstairs VIP area, as well as a lap dance area under the stage.
My gut tells me at one point this place was a nice family restaurant that got converted to a strip club. This not some skeezy dive with tacky furniture and disgusting carpet but rather a true "gentleman's club". The club is very well maintained which I believe is its strongest point. But everywhere else it fell pretty flat. Part of this is due to the fact that both of my visits were on a Sunday evening which as I understand, are usually pretty slow. As much as I love the venue, ultimately I am at a strip club to blow money for fleeting pleasures with good looking women and I must say the lineup at this place has been relatively weak, at least when I was there. For a club that is currently occupying the #5 spot on TUSCL as I write this you would think they would have a pretty solid stable of women.
