Friday night at Clancy’s

I’ve been going to Clancy‘s pretty regularly and I’ve reviewed it a few times now. The place is located in Bloomfield in a residential neighborhood attached to a liquor store with a red door and really no sign advertising it. If you drive too fast, you’ll go right by it. Parking was easy and street parking was available. The neighborhood was safe and again it’s amongst residential houses and you feel a little bit creepy walking into a strip club, but I’m OK with it. Lol.

Once inside the place is really small has a neighborhood feel with a long bar and stools a place to stand in the back and some couches all the way in the back, but nobody really uses them. I’ve mostly been going during the week but I had some time on Friday night and I figured I would check out what the talent and vibe is like on the weekend again. The place was packed. It was about 8 o’clock when I arrived and maybe all the advertising here is getting people to go back to it, but it was really crowded with no seats available so I stood in the back, made my way to the bar got a beer and nestled back up against the rail towards the back of the bar. There were probably 10 girls working that night if you’ve been here before you know, they are all Latina. I like this place because the dollar parade is really easy on your wallet. If you know a little bit of Spanish, it helps a lot, and the girls are really accommodating to go for dances.

I drank my beer, sat back a bit and watched the talent. A lot of the girls sit with regulars and tonight the best looking ones were already partnered up with somebody. The stage at this place is a really small area between the bars with a pole and the move is always to tip them extra and ask right away if you want for a dance before they find someone else.
