Fruitless Friday

A dancer I like and see once in a while told me she would be working in the evening on a recent Friday, so I stopped by as the dayshift was ending. No cover, but after a couple double doors, I checked my coat with a lady at a counter on the right and left a couple bucks as a tip. I was patted down and made my way to sit at the bar straight ahead.

The bar was pretty crowded. Only 3 or 4 booths were occupied, but it isn’t worth it to me to forking over $40-60 as an individual. Maybe 7-9 tables on the floor had guests. I let the dancer know I’d arrived and settled in for the show after getting a $10 drink (with tip).

I didn’t have to wait long for the 7 pm stage review. Around 20 dancers were already there. Not too many familiar faces, and my intended dancer was not there, but a good mix of dancers, almost all very pretty, fit. Several Cubans, some Caucasian, and maybe 1-2 others. I can’t remember too many names. I heard Red, Natalia or Talia, Andrea, and Coco came in a bit later. No Drea, Honey, Sabrina, or Jessie tonight.
