Back to the Inn on a Friday Night!!

Everyone in the DMV knows that the Inn and maybe the block in Baltimore (Lust, Norma Jeans) are the only places worth going. But they serve different purposes. Ebony Inn is a medium to small hole in the wall that serves liquor as well as North Carolina BBQ and Soul Food. For the rundown for the new folks, parking is $10 in the church parking lot. I've never had any problems parking there but I've heard stories about confrontations that came from a disagreement.

Cross the street carefully because cars come fast. Once you enter you are taken back to the 70's. The front room is straight out of a 70's bar. Juke box and pool table are the main here. Cover at night is $20 and a light pat-down is given. Drinks are $6 dollars for a beer and $14 for most hard drinks. Previously, you were asked to give up your phone but now it seems that policy is a thing of the past as dancers and patrons are seen using their phones on the floor.

After getting your drink, enter the main dancing area. I usually hit a right and sit in VIP but non VIP seats are to the left and in the back. VIP is $20, you are given a band and access to a lounge chair. On my last visit, the two couches that use to be in VIP has turned into one right behind a support beam. This is the prime seat in VIP, it provides a little more privacy but honestly with the right girl your seat won't matter.
