Mixed bag but good mileage for the area

Was on a trip to Disney for a couple days and only had uber as a viable means of transport… so I was not able to get to more fun spots like Tampa or cocoa. My options for dances seemed limited to southern Orlando locations (eg Rachel’s) or club 27. Reviews of the Orlando spots seemed almost universally bad vs few reviews on club 27 but perhaps higher mileage. Also according to a commenter a few years back someone was shot in the parking lot… but I decided to roll the dice with club 27.

Enter through and nondescript door that seems more like a back door. Guy at front takes cover ($10? Can’t remember tbh). Layout is a little weird. Directly in front is a bar that is seemingly being built /remodeled. To the left is a raised stage and pole, with chairs and some sofa loveseats on back wall. Further back is vip dance area. At that time it was totally empty to the left. A bit divey… but fine

To the right around a corner is a small bar. As you walk to the bar there is a VIP dance room but it’s kind of weird as there is a huge window that you can see right thru on one side. No way I’m going in there for a dance with that little privacy unless there’s a curtain to be pulled down! In the bar room there are some video poker machines, a couple dance booths with curtains, and a small stage with I think like a hanging hoop and a pole. There are at least people in here. Probably 10 or so dancers, and a similar number of customers. Clientele and dancers are mixed race - about half black, rest mix of latina/latino and white. Guy
