Friday night

I ended up around the corner at bottoms up after the police shut down the action pinkslip last Friday. The cover charge was $20 when I arrived around 1:30 am. As I was entering the club, I noticed quite a few of the dancers who were around the corner at pinkslip coming into bottoms up to dance for the night. I went to the bar and ordered a D’usse ($13) and grabbed a seat at one of the tables facing the main stage. The main stage is long and has two poles, so there are normally at least a couple girls on the main stage at any given time. There is also a small satellite stage off to the right when you enter that is also normally occupied.

I watched a thick light skinned honey putting on a nice show on the main stage. I went up and tipped her and she came over to where I was sitting after her stage set. After a bit of small talk, she danced for me at my table for a few songs. There isn’t a set price that I’m aware of when girls dance for you out on the floor, you just tip singles as they go. The club does have an area for private dances, but none of the girls I interacted with pitched it, and I rarely see it being used when in my most recent visits here (normally on a Friday or Saturday after midnight). This place does have a dayshift, so maybe there is more of a focus on the private dances at that time?

With the combination of the regular bottoms ups girls and the dancers who came over after the pinkslip got shut down, there were more dancers than normal (40+) by the time things got into full swing. All the girls were Black, but there was a variety of shapes and sizes, and most did a good job of making the rounds and dancing if you were interested. The place was super packed by 2:30am. By 3am it got a little too crowded for my liking, so I decided to call it a night and head back to my hotel.
