Back to Old Stomping Yard

Haven’t been here since Alyssa retired 2+ years ago. Was in the area so decided to check it out again. Was very surprised to see the lot packed on a Wednesday evening. Some downturn to the economy, huh?

Noticed a bunch of new faces—most of whom I personally found unpleasant. Heavily tattooed women and not in the tip top shape that I would prefer. Perhaps I was spoiled by Alyssa, Suki, Ivanka, and Andrea all these years, but these new girls are looking, by and large, for lack of better words—simply ratchet.

The overall vibe of the club seemed to edge on the younger side. Whereas, in years past, it was a mix of older and younger, this crowd appeared to be mostly younger and a mix of Hispanic and Asian. Occasionally, you would see the older “professional” sort but few and far between. Most of the guys seemed to be in groups and, at the very least, with friends. They seemed to be chatting more amongst themselves than paying attention to the floor or to the women passing by.
