Friday afternoon waste of time

After a few months away from the scene, I decided a happy hour visit to DTC was in order. I work downtown on Fridays so I was in the place by 5:15. No cover and no one at the greeter's desk. In fact, there was barely anyone there: two dancers, a bartender, a manager and a DJ. There was one other customer, but he wasn't seated...just milling about and probably like me wondering what the hell was going on. To make a short story shorter, I got two dances ($20 each) from the better looking of the two dancers. I thought there might be a chance mileage goes up a bit if there's no one around. But the dances were air and the dancer did confirm that no one else was there. I cut my loses and left to checkout the scene at Rick's two blocks away. It was way better. I can't understand how DTC continues to have such irregular and substandard talent on day shift.
