A surprise downward turn for Mario’s.

A rough day at Mario’s. Showed up around noon on a Tuesday. Figured why not give it a shot, was passing by.

Walk in and the metal detector sits off to the side with no one manning it. No cover fee at this hour as it was noon and they just opened. Went to the bar which is immediately on the right when you walk in and order 2 water bottles ( trying to stick to dry January.) the total for two bottles came out to $14 with tip. That hurt for a some water. Sat at the bar and none of the girls came up to me, they were all sitting and relaxing in the back.

Was disappointed with that and decided to make a slower approach and went to sit in the back area by all the girls. Most were playing on their phone or taking pictures. One girl dis come up to me and asked right away “lap dance or vip only, don’t waste my time”. While I appreciate the directness it kind of took me back. I passed on her and hung out for an hour or so and just winded up watching some of the girls dance on stage. Put a few dollars up for them but overall they were not into it.
