sinclair's Review
I went to Casa Diablo on a Wednesday night at 23:20. The club is in an industrial area on the side of a hill. There was no cover charge. There is a large rectangular stage with two poles as you enter. The bar is located in the back. There was almost nowhere to sit at the bar; it was pretty much a place to get service and walk away. Most of the seating is on the left side along the windows. There was a large outdoor patio, which is where a lot of the dancers and patrons would hang out to smoke and drink. The patio even had its own stage. The building was a restaurant called Pirates Tavern before becoming a gentlemen’s club.
Sincweisers were $6, served in sixteen ounce aluminum bottles. I purchased a shot of Hennessy for $14 for a dancer. I bought another dancer a glass of wine for $10. There is a vegan food menu where everything ranges from $6 to $14. The fare is mostly appetizers, burgers, and Mexican food. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $1,000 per transaction and charges a $3.95 fee per transaction.
There were thirteen, possibly fourteen dancers working the night shift. All of the entertainers looked like Suicide Girls. There were a lot of tattoos and piercings here–even more than at your average strip club. There is a requirement that you must tip $2 per song if you want to sit at the stage; it is even written on the tip rail. Occasionally, bouncers would monitor the tippers. When I asked for singles at the bar, I was given a stack of $2 bills instead. Dancers can touch customers at the stage, but customers cannot touch the dancers. Some dancers would give you a close-up of their pussy or grind on you a bit, while other dancers did nothing when a customer tipped. At least every single dancer did get completely naked on stage. Casa Diablo likes to brag about being the only vegan strip club; accordingly, dancers are not allowed to wear any fur, wool, leather, or silk in their outfits.
