Friday Night Visit

I made a recent Friday night visit to one of my favorite haunts, Bourbon Street. I’ve been going here so long that I remember when it was called Bourbon Street Circus? I’m not quite sure why they dropped the Circus part.

I digress, I arrived about 9:15 or so, plenty of parking available in a big well lit lot off a busy thoroughfare. Cover charge was $12, it’s a little cheaper before 9:00 but I just missed that cutoff. No ID scan or pat down. Unobtrusive bouncers.

Plenty of seating available. Prompt, friendly waitstaff. $7 for a bottle of Bud Light. Probably about 15-20 customers there at that time, it did fill up though as the night moved along.
