Reliable Tennyson

I've been coming to the Tennyson Lodge (in the south suburbs of Pgh for the uninitiated) for years and years at this point. It's pretty much stayed the same (minus the elimination of indoor smoking) for the past couple decades. This place is very much a neighborhood watering hole type spot that also doubles as a strip club.

There's a big rectangular bar right when you enter and one shoddy bathroom to your immediate right after paying a $10 cover. Just past the door guy is a very tiny side stage. Keep walking and you'll find the main stage with chairs lining it for an upclose view and some tables and high tops scattered about. On either side of the main stage are the 3 lap dance booths - offering solid privacy w/ curtains. No VIP.

Drink prices are more than your typical dive bar but less than your typical strip club. Dances are $20 a song (full songs) prepaid to the bartender. I think they may also have 15-min and 30-min deals but I've never partaken in those, as I said there's no VIP and DJ plays full songs so the experience is the same and cost savings seems marginal if at all.
