Thursday evening meat market

I planned to meet some friends for Thursday Night Football nearby and had about an hour to kill before the meet. Hadnt been to Rick’s in a while so decided to check it out.

I walked in around 6 PM, paid the cover charge of $20. I went straight to the bar on the first floor, but it was crowded with lots of coworker types hanging out after work. The place was packed to the rafters with girls. I couldn’t take two steps without being propositioned for a dance. The girls were pretty, friendly and respectful so I didn’t mind it too much.

I still wanted to sit down, drink a beer, soak up the place before I committed to the dances. With the first floor bar being crowded, I headed up stairs and got a Corona ($15 including tip.) Made small talk with a couple of the skinny friendly dancers by the bar. They weren’t really my type so I walked back down to grab a seat and survey the scene.
