Here Comes A Regular
This review covers several Fridays from 1:30 to 5 pm. No cover but there is a 2 drink minimum. I love the doorman, Ingram (its on a patch on his uniform, so anyone can find it out). I finally found a limit on there dress code which is pretty lax: I showed up in pants that were too thin and he didn't allow me. I've been a spender here for years, tip him everytime I see him and he didn't budge on the rules. They have a ton of security here on dayshift. They aren't going to move on the rules for anyone. They are right in front of you when you go in the door so read them and don't break them.
The club is split into 2 levels. Upstairs has a bar, several sections, tables by the pole which is next to the bar and tables by the pool table and upstairs bathroom which is manned by Cowboy (his face is all over the Club Blaze page so hey fine.) Cowboy does a good job and I tip him out because of it. Erika (also all over the Club Blaze IG) is big boned but is very fast at serving drinks. Cokes upstairs were 4 bucks, water bottles are also 4 bucks. Dancer drinks ranged from 7-12 bucks. An awesome value. I don't drink so I don't know if alcohol is cheaper for PLs than they are for dancers. They have a website that says happy hour drinks are 5 bucks so I think they are cheaper for actual PLs.
You can buy a section on dayshift. I brought some friends once and because there is no cover or parking charges we chipped in a few bucks to get a section for us, I don't remember the exact cost of the section. We are balling! We are important! Anyway, the actual club, from the sections to the bar chairs to the pool tables are kinda dingy. The club is dark which is good for us. TVs are OK and the game is always on. They are renowned for chicken wings apparently, they actually have a semi lunch rush and you can see it if you get there right when they open at noon, but the place isn't kept up well enough for me to eat there. The music isn't too loud in part because the system isn't so great. Music is mostly trap rap with some modern RnB in there. The dancers go bananas for the right song but there isn't much pole dancing or tipping the pole. Dancers just walk around naked.
