New additions to the bar, but not much else.
First off, G-Spot has been a familiar hangout of mine for about a year now and I'd have to say it's quickly becoming my go to spot whenever I'm out toward Akron. Baring that in mind, there have been a few changes made to the inside of the club insofar as the bar is concerned, and a few changes that I'm told will be made in the future which I'll discuss in a moment.
The general layout remains much the same in that it's a mid-size bar which is divided into two segments by a slightly low hanging wall about in the middle of the establishment. The main entrance, which is where you enter from the parking lot, is populated by the first half of the new wrap around bar which now covers most of the entire building. Construction of said bar is not yet completed as of this article's writing, so I don't want to be biased and critique it as a whole until it's finished sometime in the near future. Off to the left of the bar is a pool table and a few high-top tables with stools to seat patrons along the wall nearby. On the right side of the bar there are a few rooms, one of which is a changing room for the dancers. The other, I think, is a storage room but I never leave the main room much unless it's for VIP so iykyk until I learn otherwise. I've heard tell there will be a stage with a pole being added behind the pool table in the corner which I very much look forward to in the hopes of vetting potential dancers because there's nothing worse than spending hard earned cash on a decent looking dancer that can't dance.
The second half of the building is where the other side of the wrap around bar is found, along with the men's restroom to your immediate right, a digital jukebox placed right next to the door of the men's restroom, and another door behind that which opens up to the fenced in patio outside. Gone are the old bar set up on the back wall and the wooden tables sitting in the middle of the room, which leaves potential patrons feeling a little cramped in depending on how busy they get and what the final set up will be once the renovations are finished. The two VIP rooms remain in the same locations as before, which is on the far-left side of the room situated directly across from one another.
