Daily Planet, worth a trip again
We area all well familiar with the DP, and most of miss the good old days. So a little about the DP as it stands today. The bar is unchanged, a log cabin in the woods. The swing is gone, the little stage is gone. The solid curtains are gone, replaced with shear. The cameras are still there.
Beer is affordable. Dances are $20. Mileage is as always, YMMV, but not likely to be as it was once upon a time.
The Daily Planet is open, they had reduced the days where there were dancers to two, but are now increasing the number of days. I got a call from a dancer friend telling me that she'd be there so what could I do? I went! Surprised to see I think 7 dancers. A couple I don't remember seeing before, new younger faces.
