A hit or miss place but a miss of a day

Was driving through for work and stopped into Bristol to see if it would be a good day or not. Unfortunately it was not. As described elsewhere this is a typical rural Wisconsin bar. Nothing fancy. A couple stages for dancing but during the day there never is any. Arrived shortly after noon and was greeted by an empty bar. After a few minutes the pretty bartender came out and got me a cheap beer from the cooler. She said she didn’t know when any girls would be in and kept me company while she set up the bar for the day. She was friendly, but I could tell she was getting frustrated as three more guys came in and she still had no dancers. She went to the back to ask someone, the bouncer in guessing if he knew if anyone was coming. When she came back she just shrugged at me. I know she was ticked because one by one the guys all left after one beer when they realized there was no entertainment. And I did the same after nursing my beer for awhile. I’ve had good times here before but I know it’s a crapshoot on who might be there. But I’ve never seen it with no one! Hope that was just a one time thing.
