Back in Vegas for another conference,...

Back in Vegas for another conference, so I decided to check out Sapphire, which I hadn't visited since it first opened. It was a Thursday afternoon, and they don't charge a entrance fee from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The place was nearly empty. A friendly blonde named Grace (she's thinking of changing her stage name to Gloria) approached me. I told her I wanted a couple of drinks first. Sapphire charges only $4 for a Heineken during the afternoon hours, so I ordered a couple of them. Then I had two dances with Grace in the main room. She kept pushing the back room and said it would be only $100 for about 20 minutes. I agreed.

Unfortunately, the dances weren't any better than in the main room. The $100 was actually for three songs (more like 12 minutes). And I had to buy two drinks while I was back there for another $15. My inner voice had told me never to go to the VIP room with a dancer who keeps pushing me to go there. I should have listened.

On the plus side, I had an excellent time with Athena. She has a great smile, a terrific attitude, and wonderful body control.
