Afternoon at Delilah’s

Visited on a late Tuesday afternoon. The club had plenty of parking and is easy to get to from I95 and public transportation (Market Frankford line). This is by far the nicest looking club in the city with comfortable chairs and a nice setup with three stages all connected.

There is no cover charge before 5:00 pm. When I arrived there were only about five other customers in the place. There were eight girls rotating on the stage with each girl doing three dances. A new dancer would go on stage every two songs, which meant there were two dancers on the stages every other song. There was also a good ethnic mix of dancers, including white, AA, South American and European. I would rate them all in the 6-8 range and they were all extremely friendly. Because there were so few customers I was repeatedly approached by the dancers and had some nice conversations, but all the dancers were respectful of my desire to hang out and watch the ladies for awhile before partaking in dances.

I was hoping to see a new dancer that I had met on a previous Tuesday but she wasn’t in that day. I finally got a dance from Becca, who I had danced with in a prior visit. It was a decent dance but not to the level of contact that I had previously experienced with her. I stopped at two dances for $40 and left shortly after.
