Where Everyone Knows Your Name
Duces Wild has become a favorite lunchtime spot but I wanted to see how it was on a weekend night. This is a small, pretty chill dive bar that happens to have one semi-naked stripper dancing at a time in 15 minute rotations.
Entrance is in the back, where the parking lot is. No cover, you'll get ID-scanned if the greeter/bartender doesn't know you. There's a front room with bar where guys sit if they don't have money to tip the dancer. Stage is further into the place in the center of the main room with chairs all along the rack and high tables and pool tables further out. ATM is available for a $5.50 fee. Food entrees are $10-12 and the quality is pretty good. They always have daily drink specials, prices are on the low end. Bathroom is small and if you're using the urinal, you're exposed to half the place when the door opens.
The place is busier on a weekend night, go figure. Stage was covered in cash. I saw a pretty diverse crowd of young and old, newbies and regulars and even some couples. There was one hot wife/girlfriend taking in the view and I wished she was dancing too. This has a good vibe as people are there to have a good time and are friendly to one another, not there to be lame, insecure and ready to cause problems.
