Still fun, but not what it used to be! :(

Mons was the first club I ever went to, so it holds a great place of fun and nostalgia for me but a lot has changed since by older bro got me in when I was sixteen, back when it was byob with all those little tables everywhere many, many years ago.

Didn't visit for like 4 years from 2018-23 due to pandemic and being in a relationship. Went to Mons 6 or 7 times last year and had a good time for the most part. The increase in all prices was definitely not a happy surprise... increase to the cover from 20 to $25 wasnt a big deal, but $12 per dance to the house as an access fee is pretty big with no breaks for 15 min or more deals. The per dance rate with the girls is still negotiable but if they are busy almost none of them will take less than $40, sometimes a slower night can work in your favor albeit with less selection. In the past $40 was almost unheard of. The only good part of the changes is the privacy they added by creating booth partitions with curtains, but definitely not worth the upcharge with numerous other venues available.

Now maybe they would be worth it if the quality of the girls were up to par with the past ... idk if this was just a function of the no more dancers under 21 law the state passed, but the quality of smoking hot talent from last year to this year is a considerable drop-off. There are always a handful of regular hotties but that was one of the great things of Mons days gone past, random baddies on any night. But even last year the crop of talent wasn't the same level, solid but not the same.
