I wish it was more Controversial

Stopped by Controversy with some friends on the night before Thanksgiving around 8:30pm. Typically a huge drinking night so we had relatively high hopes for a good time. They had karaoke and some drink specials advertised. We paid $10 cover. I believe it increases after 10PM or 11PM. From Instagram, this looks to be more of a black club but that wasn't our experience but that may vary on the weekends.

It was DEAD. As in, one other customer + us. There were 2 very mediocre looking dancers working the stage and walking around, 2 younger and hotter "entertainers" (which are essentially strippers in street clothes that don't strip / go on stage but will do private dances. never seen that in the burgh before.), and, of course, the bartender who was the hottest girl in the room by a mile *sigh* - all white girls at this time. Girls only got topless on stage but one did have some great moves.

It's a smaller club - one stage, a few tables on the floor, elevated tables for bottle service behind the floor, and a lapdance room down a hallway with curtained cubbies for dances. Also, VIP rooms are somewhere back there but I didn't partake. Not a bad setup really but nothing fancy.
