Several visits
This review represents a combination of a few visits over the past several months. The club is on the North side of Houston, not far from St. James. It's a little run down and the sign for the club looks like it might want to fall over and hang upside down. The club itself is located on one end of a strip mall. The evening cover is $15 to get in. Beers are $8-9 and mixed drinks are $11 for the house drinks. I think this is a little expensive for the quality of the place and somewhat run down appearance. There's a smoking area outside. I've sat in some of the upholstered chairs out there, and one of the strippers told me they had fleas and she wouldn't sit on them. I thought she was kidding, but wasn't so sure the next day because I had a couple of what might have been flea bites on my arm. The dancers are almost all Latino, and the music is about 90% in Spanish. If I didn't know any better, I'd assume I was in Mexico or Central America. In my opinion, the dancers range from pretty hot to overweight. The majority are on the hotter side with a couple of 8's sprinkled in there. The dances from some of the dancers are sensual. Despite the grunginess, I enjoy relaxing there, and usually get some dances with a couple of the dancers. My major grip with the club is that the songs are really short. The dances are $20/dance, but the length of the songs is routinely 2 - 2 1/2 minutes. And some songs are as short as 1 minute long. I've gotten sets of 3 songs to where the whole set lasted 5 minutes, which feels like a ripoff. Songs have been getting shorter at all the clubs across the city I guess to account for inflation, but most still run 3-4 minutes. If someone wants to feel like they're in Mexico in a strip club and they're ok with some grunginess, then I would say visit here. Otherwise, go with one of the other options in the city.
