ROB and Redemption. A Tale of Two Visits.

This is the story of two visits over 3 weeks. This is one of my favorite clubs in South Florida and normally I have a great time but I ran into my first ROB experience and it really soured me on the place but I went back 3-weeks later and the place was redeemed.

For those that haven't been to Cheetah Pompano, it's got a definite Gentleman's Club vibe more than a party vibe. One thing I love about Cheetah is there are several stages spread throughout the club and there's always girls dancing on stage for 3-song sets. Generally, they are clothed, topless and fully nude. Although, this can vary with each dancer. I paid the $2 parking and $10 cover and found a seat near one of the stages. I ordered a $7 Modelo and settled in to enjoy the stage show and evaluate the talent. As is normal at Cheetah, they had some great talent with some duds mixed in. I think they tend to lean more towards slimmer girls there but if you like your girls a little thicker, you'll find a gem or two for sure.

A few girls came by that didn't really interest me and then a sexy dark-skinned Latina came by and asked if she could sit. We talked for a bit and she moved to my lap and began to try to convince me to go to VIP. She was open about what she was up for and knowing the unspoken rules of mongering, I made it very clear what I expected for my $300. Once we got back to the small VIP room and she closed the curtain, her whole attitude changed. She wasn't doing what we agreed to and when I brought it up, she just kept telling me to relax and hemming and hawing and clearly going back on what was promised. I knew I'd been had and after 20 minutes, angrily stood up and left the club. She knew she had pissed me off and tried to act all innocent but I wasn't having it. To her credit, she knew better than to ask for a tip. These types of things happen though and the girls that do these things know there's nothing you can do about it. I had almost completely sworn off going back to this club but I've had some great experiences there so I decided to give it another shot when I was back in town 3 weeks later.
