Rosewood review.

Cancelled flight out of JFK, so decided to spend a free night at Rosewood. Used to go regularly a few years back pre-Covid. Was interested to check it out. Very friendly hostess at the entrance, but annoying that security scans your driver's license. There is a VIP area for more privacy if you pony up $100 for a wristband at the door. Arrived around 11 pm. At that time it was still fairly quiet, I'd say 2 girls for every guy in the place (maybe 20 to 10 as ratio). Most sitting around looking at their phones. Drinks reasonably priced. Girls tend to approach the bar area. No real hard sell. Girl next door types. Hit and miss as to whether they can hold any kind of meaningful conversation, without use of the word *baby* thrown into each sentence. Dances are $20, and take place on two sets of sofa areas to the left and right of the main floor. No real privacy but when not busy you can get the whole sofa area to yourself. For any real action you need to get beyond 3-4 dances, so expect to drop at least $100 before there is any real touching, or removal of clothes. Mileage depends on the girl and if there is a connection, but generally if you are mindful of the preying eyes of the security guard, its a lot of grinding with touching allowed. Its not a typical strip club, but more of a regular bar that happens to be full of amateur lap dancers, which gives it a more chill vibe. Would I return, yes, it doesn't break the bank, but its not the place you go if you are looking for *extras*. There is a club next door for that kind of action, and when you approach you even get asked which entrance you looking to go through.
