1st Time at DDTR and it wasn't horrible

I was in town for the weekend and, after checking out a bunch of reviews, I decided to see what DDTR had to offer. I kept my expectations pretty low because, honestly, I had prepared myself for it to be a less-than-ideal experience. Fortunately, I ended up having a pretty decent time overall.

The night started with a $30 cover at the door, which was expected since it was a saturday night. Once inside, I made my way over to the bar, grabbed a bottle of water, and found a seat at the corner of the bar. From there, I had a good view of the stage and the dancers, which was nice. The center stage has two poles and each rotation, one or two dancers were at any given time. The patrons sitting at the seats by the stage were tipping as the girls came around showing the goods, spread eagle. It had been a while since I'd been to a nude club where the performers were actually dancing in the nude, so was pleasantly surprised. I've been to a few "nude" clubs recently that only have nude dances in VIP.

As the night went on, a few of the dancers approached me, asking if I was interested in a private dance. I was selective and decided to take some them up on the offer and headed to the LD area. The LD area is done on an "L" shaped couch where you may have other dancers dancing on another patron, so not much privacy. There was plenty of grinding during the dances and many were selling VIP (i think it was $75), suggesting a lot more can be done.

While I was tempted to listen to Billy Joel in the club, the additional tip on top of the VIP was a bit steeper than I was willing to spend. I opted to stick to my original plan of just having a fun but low-key night. All in all, DDTR wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated.
