Needed relaxation after a long weekend

I’ve never hit up a club in Illinois personally but figured that after a long weekend of work (I sometimes have to take long roadtrips on the weekend) and a hellish month of events in my life that I should take a load off and spend some of my hard earned money.

Polekatz was what I settled on after some light reading of reviews here and other places-and I would say that I wish I had more time there but I was plenty physically exhausted. I will say though, I got my money’s worth.

Parking was easy enough on a Sunday, free on the sidesteeets. Bouncers were pretty friendly (even got a fist bump). Got a drink and lounged around for a second before a petite, short and pretty mixed girl came up to me and we had a pretty awesome conversation on music and the likes-she was pretty easy to talk to.
