Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice…

Been a while since I’ve tried to give Strokers some money. I usually pop my head in maybe once or twice a year here since I live close by. On the Eastside of town we really only have two choices, Pin Ups and Strokers and with all the changes to the SC scene the last two years, I have noticed the quality on the east side has suffered.

I was out on a Saturday evening bar hopping and catching some college fball games with a buddy and we wrapped around 1130. On my way home I figured ehhh, I got some money burning a whole in my pocket, let me see some T and A before I call It a night. I Flipped a coin (in my head) and decided on Strokers. No parking fee and I figured It would be less crowded than Pin Ups, and probably cheaper door fee. Got there and the lot was super packed. I had to park by the restaurants…good sign I thought. I had not been to strokers on the weekend in years, maybe things are looking up talent wise!

Well, sorry for me, but I was sadly mistaken. It was packed, but not in a good way. $10 entry fee and pat down, so no biggie there. But as soon as I walked in, weed smoke hit me in the schnoze like a ton of bricks. Cot damn! this place was like a Snoop, Method Man and Redman video from the mid 00s. There was maybe a 2-3/1 ratio of patrons to dancers. DBoy central…bar was packed with patrons, I couldn’t find a spot to stand at. If you have been here before you know the set up is a big box with stages scattered throughout and a few pool tables and two bars. But one big room basically, so no privacy, and this trip not much room to roam.
